Combining a love for theater and a passion for events, StoryArc’s Founder and Executive Producer, Cory Fowkes, CMP, has created a company that produces impactful events filled with the passion, creativity, craftsmanship and production values that have inspired audiences throughout time.

The chronological construction of a plot in a novel or story. The purpose of a story arc is to move a character or a situation from one state to another, in other words, to effect change.

Cory’s Story

Cory is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) with nearly two decades in the corporate event industry. He has planned and produced hundreds of events locally, nationally, and globally, leading the charge on multiple award-winning events.

After earning a BFA in Musical Theater at Drake University and moving to Chicago, Cory transitioned his talents from the page and stage to creating engaging events in traditional and unique venues around the world.

His unique ability to bring narrative and corporate messaging to life is the key to what makes the events and experiences he creates a step above the rest. His superpowers include a discerning eye for detail, unrelenting creative energy and problem solving skills, keen foresight to counteract the unexpected, and a visionary eye for design.

He’s worked alongside some of the industry’s top professionals and the world’s most recognizable names and brands helping tell their stories through live events — or what he lovingly refers to as ‘corporate theater.’
